First Footage of Joss Whedon’s Much Ado About Nothing

Hidden away on a CBS feature on Joss Whedon is the first footage from his micro budget adaptation of Much Ado About Nothing.

The black and white movie was shot over two weeks and Whedon’s own home was used as one of the locations. The forthcoming film features a cast of former Whedon collaborators. Amy Acker, Fran Kranz, Clark Gregg, Nathan Fillion, Tom Lenk and Alexis Denisof were all more than happy for the chance to work with the great man once again.

The interview and glimpse into Joss’s home life just makes me like him even more, his wife (Kai Cole) also produces the film with Joss and was a driving force for this movie to be made.

Having gone to see the Avengers for a second time today, I can’t begin to describe the overwhelming pride I felt for Joss. His work has been with us for 15 years and us Whedonites knew he could pull it off, but it was so much better than we could of hoped for.

There will be a special Avengers Podcast later this week, so if you want to hear our in-depth opinions on the movie and all things Marvel then look out for the link.

If you missed The Avengers World Premiere Red Carpet event the lovely folks at Marvel have put the whole thing online, just skip the first 9 minutes of “Stay Tuned’ still and bob’s your uncle nearly 2 hours of interviews and clips from the movie.
