Sir Ben and Iron Man

So around 11pm last night Iron Man 3 started trending on Twitter, hmm I thought to myself why is a movie that’s over a year away and yet to be made trending already? Sadly the voice in my head didn’t answer (well he can’t know everything now can he!) so I cautiously investigated further.Within a couple of clicks of the button I had my answer, Sir Ben Kinglsey has been added to the cast as an unnamed villain. We are legally obligated to call Sir Ben Kingsley Sir at all times, failure to do so will make him angrier than he was in Sexy Beast!
The fan sites are all suggesting he will be playing The Mandarin but nothing has been confirmed and in some respects this seems a little obvious. It will certainly add a touch of class having the actor formerly known as Gandhi on the Iron Man 3 set.

Director and co-writer Shane Black is the perfect man for the job, he previously worked with Downey Jnr on Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and lets face it, that movie was brilliant.More news when it comes in.
I’m sure some of the possible Iron Man 3  story lines  will be hinted in the forthcoming Whedon movie, but I’m loving that The Avengers seems to be it’s own thing with some minor continuation of previous stories.

Now us Brits don’t often get Blockbusters released before the US, however this year we get The Avengers a full week before the US and Prometheus docks a week earlier as well. There is just 16 days left before The Avengers assemble in cinemas.
