Latest English Movies

Being a geek, I get my fix of movie reviews, news and general geekery from a wealth of places. From the obvious ones we all use to a host of fellow bloggers doing it for themselves. A movie site that caught my eye recently is www.latestenglishmovies.com

Now, it might seem odd to recommend another movie site, after all a healthy portion of your geeky needs can be found on these very pages. That said, the internet is a big place and there’s room for us all.

I’m a fan of cinema from all corners of the world, but I can understand why some people may not find foreign cinema as enjoyable, subtitles can be tiring, and dubbing is often so bad it’s hard to take the film seriously . The writers of this movie review site agree, and only review English Language films.

The site is full of features and articles, as well as movie news and trailers, covering a lot of new releases. I’d highly recommend this feature on The Chariots of Fire. http://www.latestenglishmovies.com/chariots-of-fire-the-olympics-and-national-identity/

All the articles are all well thought out, and the reviewers obviously have a passion for what they do.

Any true geek will understand that films are open to differences in opinion, and there is nothing we enjoy more than a good debate. In a couple of weeks you can hear the first We Love Movies [More than you] Movie Court, where Jim and I each take opposing sides and throw a popular movie in to the arena, so stay tuned for that. Make sure you check out latestenglishmovie.com and leave them a message to tell them what you think. You can also follow them on twitter @moviereviewdesk and facebook http://www.facebook.com/pages/Latest-english-movies/243395579045208
