Starring Tyler Labine as Dale, and Joss Whedon regular Alan Tudyk as Tucker., this funny and gruesome horror comedy arrives on DVD and Blu Ray. Tucker and Dale are two best friends on holiday in their old mountain cabin, whilst out and about they get wrongfully mistaken for psychotic hillbillies by a group of stuck up teenagers. When one of the teens gets lost Tucker and Dale try to help her but the misunderstanding only gets worse and the bodies start to pile up.

It’s a good spin on the tired ‘lost in the woods’ format. The teenagers preconceptions of Tucker and Dale drive them to murderous extremes even though our ‘heros’ don’t exactly help themselves. It’s quite gory in places and gets a bit silly towards the end, but it’s all done with a knowing nod to the slasher genre. Some might call it a spoof but it’s a solid horror movie in it’s own right that has already got a cult following. It has been screened at numerous horror festivals and plans for a sequel are already in the works, if you’re a fan of the genre you won’t want to miss this.

With a limited cinema release, Tucker and Dale Vs. Evil is out now on DVD and Blu Ray.
